Hydraulic fracturing meeting planned

From Advocate staff reports

HANOVER -- A community meeting about hydraulic fracturing is set for 6 p.m. Feb. 16 in the Licking Valley High School auditorium.
Anyone interested in hydraulic fracturing and the possibility of joining the Hanover village lease group for a Utica Shale project is encouraged to attend, Hanover Mayor Duane Flowers said.
"We are trying to gather everyone together in a lease package as a village and surrounding areas," he said. "That way, we can put in protections for wells, our infrastructure, storm water runoff, etc.
"It makes it more property owner-friendly. It's coming, one way or another. We can't stop it. There is too much money involved."
